Women and Big Waves Starring Bianca Valenti – Off The Lip Radio

California native Bianca Valenti became the first ever female Big Wave World Tour Champion, after her victory in the Dive N’ Surf Oregon Pro against fellow big wave waterwomen. Since female competitors had never been invited to an event on the BWWT prior to this, the 2014 Dive N’ Surf Oregon Pro made history and a huge statement for female big wave surfers around the world. It was a monumental day for the sport, an for women everywhere.

Helping expose their talents to the world is a filmmaker named Sarah Jones working on her next project called, “It Ain’t Pretty” – a documentary about the women surfers of Ocean Beach in San Francisco.
